Correct, however, I had already created this thread before I realized that I had the other one. So the easiest solution was to simply lock the irrelevant thread. Unnecessary deletion of threads can mess with post counts, thread counts and other statistics.

As both a moderator (I have been on several other sites btw, none of them are alive anymore) and a member I follow the most logical path available to me, as well as the one that has the least amount of negative results. So, we have 1 locked thread as opposed to several disrupted statistics. I think I made a good choice.
