Today in Enter the Dragon, I will be talking about one of the most competitive Dragon Decks in the game today : Disaster Dragon!

Disaster Dragon is best described as an Aggressive Control OTK deck. While over powering the opponent, it also utilizes Koa'ki Meiru Drago(1) to shut down Light and Dark Monsters (A.K.A. just about EVERYTHING in the meta), Totem Dragon(2) to tribute into big monsters like Light and Darkness Dragon(3) and Yamata Dragon(4), Exploder Dragon(5) to obliterate annoying cards like Blackwing Armor Master(6), and just about everything else. It easily Synchro Summons, and can literally prevent the opponent from doing anything.

The reason Disaster Dragon is held in my regards as the greatest Dragon Deck yet, is because of it's tendency to, well... make Disaster of the opponent's deck, strategies, plays, and just about everything else.

By using a combination of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon(7), Koa'ki Meiru Drago, Totem Dragon, Light and Darkness Dragon, and Yamata Dragon, you can, essentially, break up the opponents plays by:
A. Moving Koa'ki Meiru Drago on and off the field to disrupt the opponents strategy while allowing you to run wild.
B. Abusing Totem Dragon to summon Light and Darkness Dragon to shut down the opponent's cards, then continuing on with other plays by reviving Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.
C. Use Yamata Dragon to constantly keep a fresh hand, and summon it back to the field every turn with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon bringing back Totem Dragon to constantly keep fresh hands while using more and more of the opponent's resources by adding Prime Material Dragon(Cool to the mix.
D. All of the above.

The deck is just so able to disrupt the opponent and keep you going strong, I think it more then deserves the appropriate name of Disaster Dragon.

For recommended cards and builds, see Wikia. However, here is the list of the deck when it was unveiled by the creator himself, Richard Clarke:
